A new type of Ramen “Abura Soba” or “Oil noodles”

Abura soba which literally means “oil noodles” sounding greasy, yet actually delicious and healthier than ordinary Ramen. It comprises thick noodles, toppings and most importantly “Tare” or thick soy sauce at the bottom of the bowl instead of soup. Mix well the noodles and toppings with “Tare” before you start to eat.  For you info, not only I Shinjuku-ite, but also my good friend Papa Takaoka occasionally drop by there for lunch as well as for dinner and always find crowded during lunch/dinner time.
